We are just days away from Disneyland’s grand reopening. The theme park will open its gates to guests beginning April 30th of this year. Upon reopening, Disneyland has plenty of new updates for fans to enjoy. One of these is the new reimagined Snow White attraction!
Fantasyland’s Snow White attraction has completed its grand reimagining and is ready to welcome guests when the park reopens. Renamed Snow White’s Enchanted Wish, the ride will take guests through a new retelling of the Disney classic.
The dark ride, formally known as Snow White’s Scary Adventures, will also feature new technology that this ride has never seen before. Disney explains these updates as:
Discover new shimmering and sparkling effects, plus dazzling new scenes with Snow White dancing, the scent of pies baking, and the evil Queen’s collection of spell books and bubbling potions.
It’s safe to say that there is plenty to look forward to when this attraction opens. Even the exit will look different! So much so, that it will be an entirely new exit. Before when the attraction was known as Snow White’s Scary Adventures, guests would enter on the left side and then exit ride vehicles on the opposite side and reenter Fantasyland. Now, guests will exit into the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique– which is also receiving a special update.
The ride exit will lead into the boutique before getting back to Fantasyland. Just outside Snow White’s Enchanted Wish and the Boutique, Disney Cast Member Glenn has added his own special touch. In the TikTok video below, you can watch Glenn in action, and he hand paints this beautiful detailing on the exterior. In the video, Glenn describes his process as follows:
“Hi, I’m Glenn. Today I am working on the exit queue for Snow White, which also is the entrance to Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique. I’m painting a multi-color, highly detailed scroll work on the wood columns that are there. It’s time consuming but the finished product will look really cool.”
