Snow White’s Scary Adventures has existed since Disneyland Park’s opening day, July 17, 1955.
In late 2019, Disneyland Resort announced that the classic attraction would be getting a renovation. Today, news of just how big that remodel is has been shared.
As a matter of fact, the Disney Princess ride is set to be so different that it has been given an entirely new name — Snow White’s Enchanted Wish!
According to Disney Parks Blog:
Today – on the 83rd anniversary of the premiere of Disney Animation’s “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs” at the Carthay Circle Theatre in Los Angeles – we’re excited to share that Disneyland park’s only ride-through princess attraction has been reimagined and renamed as Snow White’s Enchanted Wish!
While Disneyland park has been closed, Walt Disney Imagineering has been putting the finishing touches on this cherished attraction, which will be ready to welcome guests when we reopen our theme parks at a later date. While you may recognize some familiar elements in the attraction, you’ll be surprised to discover enhanced story details and all-new scenes. Take a look at the sneak peek below!

As a Disneyland Annual Passholder myself, I truly can’t wait to experience this reimagined version of Disney’s classic Snow White ride when the theme park is allowed to reopen.
The current description of Snow White’s Scary Adventures on Disneyland’s website reads:
Settle into a wooden mine cart and accompany Snow White as she flees from the evil Queen.
“Whistle While You Work” at the cozy cottage of the Seven Dwarfs. Visit dazzling mines filled with glowing gems. Then, proceed with caution into the dark and haunted forest—and the Queen’s sorcery chamber and spooky dungeons.
When all looks lost, will Snow White find her own happily ever after?
At this time, Disneyland park and Disney California Adventure do not have an official reopening date, but this is certainly an exciting update for Disneyland Resort fans to look forward to when the California Disney Resort is once again allowed to “open up the gates”!
