Credit: DisneyDisneyland and Disney California Adventure are officially reopening to the public on April 30 after a year-long closure. This is exciting news for Disney Parks fans who have anxiously been awaiting this big announcement.
Even more exciting news is that the new revitalized version of the classic Fantasyland dark ride, Snow White’s Enchanted Wish (formerly Snow White’s Scary Adventures) will be opening along with the rest of the park! While this is not a brand-new attraction, the extensive changes indicate that we will experience a new take on a beloved attraction that is sure to have fans even more excited.

Snow White’s Enchanted Wish takes a stark contrast to the previous iteration of the attraction, Snow White’s Scary Adventures. The Snow White attraction originally opened with Disneyland and is a big part of the very first Disney Park’s history.
We previously reported on the extensive changes that were made to the attraction back in December of 2020. Disney took advantage of the time that Disneyland remained closed to make big changes to the attraction.
Some of the updates to the attraction include enhanced special effects and new scenes.

Imagineers have updated this classic Fantasyland attraction with new magic inside and out. Using state-of-the-art audio and visual technology, including new music, LED black lighting, laser projections and a new animation system, the attraction brings to life Snow White’s “happily ever after.”
Vibrant new shadow projections bring to life the dwarfs as they march happily off to work in the mine singing “Heigh-Ho.” The most dazzling scene is the mine, which sparkles with shimmering lighting effects and glittering jewels all around.
Disneyland is holding previews for Cast Members as well as members of the community of Disneyland and presumably California Adventure, which means some Disney Park employees will likely be able to ride this revitalized attraction first!
Currently, Disney is holding a special limited-time ticketed event called A Touch of Disney. This event begins tomorrow, March 18, and ends on April 19. A Touch of Disney is being held at Disney California Adventure and features, food, shopping, and entertainment, but no attractions. The tickets for A Touch of Disney are sold out.
