All four of Walt Disney World Resort’s theme parks — Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Disney’s Animal Kingdom, and Disney’s Hollywood Studios — have reached capacity today, December 5, Walt Disney’s birthday.
Disney World is currently using the Disney Park Pass reservation system to limit capacity at all of its theme park destinations. The reservation system is set to be used at least into 2022, although modified Park Hopper ticket options will return in January 2021.
Social media users have shared details about today’s Disney World crowds.
Twitter user Bioreconstruct shared an aerial photo of EPCOT’s busy Cast Member parking lot, writing:
All Walt Disney World parks were at capacity today for all forms of reservations (resort guests, day guests, annual pass). An aerial with status of EPCOT Cast Member parking.

Good morning from Magic Kingdom!!
Although crowds are not yet extremely thick in this photo, you can definitely see groups beginning to gather in front of the castle at the end of Main Street, U.S.A.

Although wait times are certainly not as bad as would be expected if the theme parks were at maximum capacity, it is important to remember that Disney World is still operating at limited capacity amid the ongoing pandemic.
Although Walt Disney Company CEO Bob Chapek has confirmed that the Florida Disney Parks have increased capacity since their initial phased reopening stage in July, they are still not anywhere near 100% crowd levels on a daily basis.
Are you at Disney World today? How have you found crowd levels?
