In the wake of Walt Disney World Resort’s announcement that Park Hopping will return starting January 1, 2021, new details have been unveiled regarding its 2021 theme park tickets — both the standard and the Florida Resident tickets, as well as how much it will cost you to add the Park Hopper option to each.

According to Disney World’s website, 2021 Standard Theme Park Tickets will start at $109 a day with the ticket price varying on the day of the week and time of year. This price is actually lower than Disney’s 2020 standard theme park ticket which is currently listed at $125 per day.

Disney World has 2021 Florida Resident Tickets starting at the same price. However, the Resort states that Florida Residents will be able to “Save up to 40% on 3- and 4-day tickets (compared to the price of a non-Florida resident 3- and 4-day ticket).

Extra Cost of Park Hopper Option Confirmed
Disney also confirmed that the Park Hopper option will cost extra just as it did before the closure. Regarding the 2021 Standard Theme Park Ticket for non-Florida Residents, the baseline increase for a single-day ticket is nearly $70 before tax. Moving the starting price from $109 to $174. Again, the actual ticket price will vary depending upon the day of the week and time of year at Walt Disney World.

Florida Residents, on the other hand, will not experience such an increase. The Park Hopper option on a one-day theme park ticket raises the price from $109 to $142. Residents of the Sunshine State will be paying as low as $73 a day for a 4-day Park Hopper ticket depending on the day of the week and time of year.

Disney confirms that future Guests with valid theme park tickets will be able to re-add the Park Hopper option to their Theme Park Ticket for 2021 visits. However, they will once again have to pay for the difference.
To recap the announcement, Disney World Guests will once again be able to visit Magic Kingdom, EPCOT Disney’s Animal Kingdom, and Disney’s Hollywood Studios in the same day.
