This center has been planned for many years but has always hit speed bumps. Now construction is moving forward and Disney has recently announced new retail and dining you can enjoy as soon as the center is open.
Thanks to a report from the Orlando Business Journal we have the details of Disney’s latest Flamingo Crossings update:
- Wendy’s
- Five Below
- Domino’s
- Ellie Lou’s Brews & BBQ
- Firehouse Sub
- Persimmon Hollow Brewing Co.
- Pieology Pizzeria
- Gyu-Kaku Japanese BBQ
- UPS store
This is in addition to the previously announced anchor stores Target, PDQ, Bento Asian Kitchen + Sushi, Ben & Jerry’s, Dunkin’, Five Guys, and Walgreens.
Flamingo Crossings will be just off of Western Way directly adjacent to Disney World property. There are currently already hotels built at Flamingo Crossings, including SpringHill Suites. More hotels are on the way for Flamingo Crossings, and once the center is built it will certainly be a big draw for families visiting Walt Disney World Resort, whether they want to stay offsite at one of the hotels or they just want another place to shop and dine outside of Disney Springs and the Disney Parks.
You can see photos of the ongoing construction at Flamingo Crossings here!
Disney has not given an exact day for the Flamingo Crossings center to be completed, and we are certain that a project of this size will take time.
