We absolutely love this new ad as it reminds us of the classic Disney World commercials, but also is so poignant for the rollercoaster year that has been 2020. It reminds us to keep focusing on the future, and the positive things you enjoy.
Fans of Disney World will of course recognize the tune from the Carousel of Progress attraction that can be found at Tomorrowland in the Magic Kingdom. “There’s a Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow” was of course written by the Sherman Brothers. It is a song of true optimism and is beloved by Disney fans all around the world.
The first lyrics to “There’s a Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow” are:
There’s a great, big, beautiful tomorrow
Shining at the end of every day
There’s a great, big, beautiful tomorrow
And tomorrow’s just a dream away
While the Carousel of Progress is becoming dated, and can sometimes be hindered by maintenance issues, Disney continues to restore and run the attraction because it is truly a fan favorite. New permits were recently filed for the Carousel of Progress and you can read more details about that here.
