When you visit a Disney Park, you are engulfed into some of the happiest and most magical places on earth. From the music, to the smells, to the ambiance, Disney has the ability to transport you. One of the most well known tricks Disney uses to create such magical memories for Guests are through their Cast Members. Cast Members at any Disney theme park have the ability to take your vacation from “great” to “spectacular”. Whether it be a Cast Member giving you the spooky look on The Haunted Mansion at Magic Kingdom, or making your birthday extra special when they sign your birthday pin, Cast Members truly hold the magic of Disney.

One of the best ways for Disney Guests to make sure that Disney knows that Cast Members are doing a great job is through #CastCompliments. You can take to Twitter and Tweet your Cast Member story with the hashtag #CastCompliments, and Disney will be able to see it! It is the perfect way to say thank you to a Cast Member who went out of their way to make your day the best day ever.

Amid the current layoff news at Disney from Walt Disney World Resort to Disneyland Resort, Cast Members are still keeping the magic alive, even when their future at the company could be coming to an end during this pandemic. Let’s check out a few #CastCompliments from this past week to remind ourselves why Cast Members are one of the most important key factors in having a great day at Disney

Baby giraffe cuteness.

Thelma Augusto took to Twitter to tell us her adorable #CastCompliment:

#CastCompliment for Matt at Beaches and Cream restaurant at the Beach Club Resort. Made sure everyone at our table was well taken care of! My daughter will never forget this moment and neither will we! Kenya the giraffe enjoyed her lettuce and having her own water #disneyworld

PhotoPass Cast Member magic.

Steve Staebell reminded us of the magic of PhotoPass, especially during the pandemic when the only way to get a group shot without a self timer and a tripod is from a PhotoPass Cast Member! #ThankYouPhotoPass

@WDWToday #castcompliment Kevin on Main Street USA went above and beyond with taking our photos today. He took candid pictures while we watched the Character Cavalcade that made our day and memories extra special

Cast Member knowledge.

Julia Thomason heard CM James who work’s at Magic Kingdom’s Hall Of Presidents talking about all of the facts that the attraction revolves around. Having a Disney Cast Member who knows their stuff can provide an educational experience and allow you to walk away with something new.

While waiting on the Hall of Presidents I thoroughly enjoyed hearing cm James talk about some of country’s history. You can tell he loves his job!! #castcompliment

The perfect person to talk to

Cast Members are always around to chat with you, even if you just need someone to talk to you about Oga’s Cantina at Star Wars Galaxy’s Edge! Tami talked about how Alexis at Disney’s Saratoga Springs was able to giver whole family some socially distanced interaction!

Alexis at the pool at the tree house villas, she let me talk and she talked about star wars with my family she recommended drinks at the cantina. Happy to see that with covid she made my children happy with the interaction

Always of top of things.

Cast Members will always take the best care of you. Whether it comes to making sure you are safe to keeping you entertained Disney CM’s have your best interest in mind. Miranda visited Regal Eagle Smokehouse at EPCOT and experienced that magic first hand!

#castcompliment to Fran at Reagle Eagle for being so knowledgeable and accommodating with my allergies, and also for having rad dance skills!

Always around to play.

If there is one thing Disney Cast Members know, it’s how to have fun. Every Disney Resort often has Cast Members who will go out of their way to make your stay extra special, and in Heather’s case Josh and Ray at Disney’s Old Key West Resort were exactly that. You can see the Cast Members in full PPE socially distancing but still playing a round of volleyball with Emma!

#castcompliment to Josh and Ray at the #oldkeywest pool for playing ball with Emma Kate! She was in heaven.

These are just a small hand full of the many #CastCompliments that could be found on Twitter from the past few days alone. It is very telling to know that even while Cast Members may have lost their job, or fear that they may, that they still are keeping the magic alive at Disney. Creating these magical moments for Guests are the reasons we get to have memories at Disney that last a lifetime.
