It is impossible to visit a Disney theme park and not have at least one experience with a Cast Member. You’ll encounter them everywhere, whether it is while you scan your MagicBand or park ticket at a turnstile, a character meet and greet, checking into a Disney Resort hotel, or paying for your souvenirs at the Emporium. They are the everyday magic makers in the parks, and many times they go above and beyond to provide some extra magic to your day.
If you have ever visited the Disney Parks and encountered a truly outstanding Cast Member you believe deserves recognition, we encourage you to give them a Cast Compliment and share your appreciation with the world.
We were so excited to see Rey today at our cast member preview! We met Rey last July and it’s one of our favorite memories in the parks. Even though we can “meet” you the same way it still felt just as magical! Thank you! #castcompliment #castmemberpreview @WDWToday ✨✨✨ pic.twitter.com/HgW36fXO3N

What is a Cast Compliment?
A Cast Compliment is the best way to leave a Cast Member a note of gratitude or recognition. When you are in person visiting the parks for the day or you’re on a Disney vacation for a week, you can visit any Guest Relations location at a Disney Park, at Downtown Disney or Disney Springs, or at a Disney Resort hotel, and just let the Cast Member there know that you want to give a Cast Compliment to someone who made your day or helped you out.
It is also often used as a social media tag that helps Disney collect all unsolicited praises for their Cast Members. There are so many times that we want to do more than leave a generous tip or sing their praises to their face for what CMs did for our Disney vacation, and we do not always remember to stop by a Guests Relations location.
This way, a #CastCompliment is literally as simple as sending a Tweet with all of the legitimacy as a formal email to Guest.Services@DisneyWorld.com.

Go to your Twitter, tag an official Walt Disney World or Disneyland page like @WaltDisneyWorld or @Disneyland, and sing your praises for your Cast Member including the hashtag #CastCompliment somewhere in the message. Be sure to also include the name of the Cast Member and where you interacted with them.
This way, Disney’s team is able to find your message, notify the special Cast Member, and can often reply back with a picture of your Cast Member smiling and holding a printed out copy of your compliment. That Cast Member’s direct leadership team will also keep it on file.

Yes. Cast Compliments are accepted at Disney Parks around the world, and #CastCompliment can be used for all areas of the Walt Disney World Resort as well as the Disneyland Resort, and even Disneyland Paris. That includes those CMs working in both shopping and dining centers, Disney Springs and Downtown Disney District, the Disney Resort hotels, as well as the Guest Services call centers and online chat services on the Disney Parks and Resorts websites.
Every Cast Member at every level is responsible for some small part of the magic we all find while on our Walt Disney World or our Disneyland vacations. If you have met a great one, either head to a Guest Relations desk at any Disney property, or head to Social Media and let that Cast Member, Disney, your followers, and the world know all about it.
