As Disneyland continues its preparations for reopening, the Disneyland Ambassadors visited some Cast Members hard at work at Disney’s Grand California Hotel and Spa.

Disneyland Resort was originally scheduled to begin reopening its theme parks and resort hotels on July 17, 2020. However, that reopening has since been delayed. Downtown Disney will still reopen on July 9 — read more here.
Before the delay was announced, Disney Ambassadors took fans inside Disneyland to give Cast Members a chance to share their own excitement for reopening. Most Cast Members were excited to see Guests they had befriended.
While it is still unclear when the new reopening date will be, Guests planning to visit the Happiest Place on Earth will be required to wear face masks just as they will be when the Walt Disney World resort reopens its theme parks starting July 11. This picture clearly shows Disneyland Case Members all wearing their face masks–no doubt hiding big Disney smiles–complying for the health and safety of themselves and their fellow Cast Members.

However, not all Cast Members share excitement about the parks reopening, and Disneyland had to go back to the negotiating table with several Case Member Unions to ensure that safety measures were satisfactory. All full-time and part-time Disneyland Cast Members will also return before any Disney College Program.
