But it probably won’t come as a surprise that the soundtrack for the new blockbuster film has made it all the way to the #1 spot on Billboard’s 200 Albums Chart. This is a first for the Frozen 2 soundtrack, which was released on November 15 on Walt Disney Records. It features seven new songs composed by Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez, as well as “Reindeer(s) Are Better Than People” from the original film. The deluxe edition of the Frozen 2 soundtrack features a second disc of score tracks by composer Christophe Beck.

Co-director of the film Jennifer Lee said during an interview that the music from the film “reflects the growth of the characters and the deepening of their story.” She went on to call the new songs “emotional, personal yet powerful, intimate but also epic.”

The Frozen 2 soundtrack is the first brand-new full-length soundtrack to reach the #1 spot on the chart for the first time this year. It’s also the only soundtrack for an animated film to claim the number one spot on the chart since the soundtrack for Frozen which hit the box office in November of 2013. It remained in the number one spot for 13 weeks in 2014.

Songs on the soundtrack include “All is Found,” “Some Things Never Change,” “Sisters,” and “Into the Unknown.” There are even a few covers of songs from Frozen 2 by Panic! at the Disco, Kacey Musgraves and Weezer.
