Credit: Sand and SnowThe holiday season is here! While the Disney Parks have been celebrating the holidays for weeks now, we’re just getting started in our own homes. We thought we’d share some of our favorite Disney-inspired holiday home décor ideas to get in the Christmas spirit.
DIY Disney Parks button ornaments
This has got to be one of the best DIY crafts we’ve ever seen! Whenever we visit the Disney Parks, we love picking up a free “I’m Celebrating!” button. These can be used to commemorate a romantic trip like an anniversary or engagement, a first visit, a celebration, a birthday, and so much more. And best of all — they’re a totally free souvenir!
But when we get home from vacation, we rarely know what to do with those buttons, which is why this craft is such a fantastic idea! You can read all about how to create this yourself here.
Tsum Tsums, Wishables, or other small plush tree décor
If you’re looking for a creative way to spice up your Christmas tree, try using small Disney plush toys! We’ve always loved Tsum Tsums, and now that Wishables are taking the parks by storm, we think these would make great tree decorations as well. Simply place your small Disney plush toys along your tree or garland in whatever manner you like. You can use just plush toys as your ornaments or intersperse the plush with other ornaments, too.
DIY Mickey Mouse wreath
There are a few different Mickey Mouse wreaths we love, and we think these are great ways to add some holiday cheer to your front door — Disney style! We love the more traditional wreath made from green garland. Keep in mind that when you create your own DIY project, you can truly make it your own and include special touches that make it unique to your home and love for Disney.

Mickey and Minnie candy jar centerpieces
Disney Family has shared a tutorial all about creating these adorable centerpieces inspired by Mickey and Minnie Mouse. They are not difficult to make and fun to look at, especially since you can fill them with candy, ornaments, or other goodies!

DIY Mickey-shaped bauble ornaments
We love all of the Christmas ornaments that they sell at the Disney Parks and online on shopDisney, but when you’re planning to have a Disney-themed Christmas tree, the cost of ornaments can add up. So when we discovered this awesome DIY for Mickey-shaped baubles, we knew we had to share. All you do is take one larger bauble ornament and two smaller ones and either glue them together or cut and form them into the shape of a Mickey Mouse head. You can even glue on a cute little bow to create Minnie-inspired ones!

Frozen-inspired tiered display
We always get home décor inspiration from @Disney_at_home on Instagram, and we absolutely love the idea of creating tiered displays inspired by our favorite Disney characters. Even though it’s not a Christmas movie, Frozen characters just make us feel all holly jolly inside! This Frozen-inspired tiered display has all things, Elsa and Olaf. You can create your own tiered display with the Christmas and Disney mugs and trinkets you already have, or you can take inspiration here and create a Frozen one that lasts you through the winter.
