It is truly getting easier and easier to have the perfect Walt Disney World vacation. And beginning today, the official Walt Disney World website and official app — known as My Disney Experience — is the preferred way to book, manage, modify, and cancel your Walt Disney World Resort dining reservations.
Walt Disney World Resort has hundreds of dining locations to choose from across the four theme parks, two water parks, Disney Springs, and dozens of Disney Resort hotels. And now, booking dining reservations has never been easier. Guests are directed to use the My Disney Experience app and DisneyWorld.com to make their Walt Disney World Resort table service dining reservations and will no longer be directed to call WDW-DINE to do so.
Prior to this announcement, many Walt Disney World Resort guests and Authorized Disney Vacation Planners called WDW-DINE to book or modify Disney dining reservations. Even after the My Disney Experience added the ability to reserve table service dining, several Disney fans and travel agents preferred to simply call Disney directly and speak with a phone agent in order to sort out their dining requests. But now, Disney is advocating for the use of the official Walt Disney World Resort website and app for dining reservations instead of the use of the phone lines.
Of course, you can still use the Walt Disney World website to book and modify your table service dining reservations, and Cast Members at the Disney Reservation Center will be able to help guests with their dining reservations for parties of eight or more, same-day cancelations, and other assistance regarding your Walt Disney World Resort vacation. But using the My Disney Experience app is highly convenient already, so it’s great news that the My Disney Experience App and Disneyworld.com are now the preferred methods of booking and modifying table service dining reservations.
