Today Disney Cruise Line announced exciting new itineraries for the 2021 sailing season aboard the Disney Wonder, and bookings for these cruises begins October 3.

Sailings from New Orleans

For a limited time in early 2021, Disney Cruise Line will return to the Crescent City and sail to the Bahamas and to the Caribbean. Sailings will also include visits to Disney’s gorgeous private island, Castaway Cay. The Disney fleet will see a lineup of popular itineraries that will include several tropical destinations from Florida, California, and Texas.

The Disney Wonder will return to New Orleans beginning in late January through February 2021. Magical voyages from New Orleans will include sailings to the Western Caribbean over four- and five-night cruises. The five-night cruise will include a visit to the port city of Progreso, Mexico–an entirely new port of call for Disney Cruise Line located on the Yucatan Peninsula. Progreso is a quaint little town perfect for families to explore together. There, families can find ancient Mayan ruins, hidden pristine swimming holes and more.

Early 2021 will also see three seven-night sailings to the Bahamas and Castaway Cay. There will also be a 14-night cruise to the Panama Canal from New Orleans.

When sailing from New Orleans, Guests will get the full experience of the Big Easy–onboard the Disney Wonder as well as ashore. Tiana’s Place restaurant takes families to an era full of southern charm, exciting jazz music and street parties, all inspired by Disney’s “The Princess and the Frog.” Guests can choose to experience the city’s cuisine and live jazz music and visit popular New Orleans museums and parks before or after their sailings.

Sailings from Texas and California

In early 2021, the Disney Wonder will be returning to the popular ports of Galveston, Texas, and San Diego, California. Guests who sail from Texas will enjoy four- and six-night cruises that display the beauty of the beaches of the Western Caribbean. These cruises will begin in Galveston and sail to Grand Cayman and Cozumel.

A seven-night itinerary sailing from Galveston will include stops at Key West, Nassau, Bahamas and Castaway Cay.

Early 2021 will also see the Disney Wonder heading from San Diego, California, to the Baja and the Mexican Riviera on three- to seven-night cruises. Looking for gold? You and your family will love climbing aboard a pirate ship in Cabo San Lucas and hunting for the precious metal. Guests will also have the opportunity to head out on an off-road adventure in Ensenada or even to sunbathe on the sandy beaches.

Sailings from Florida

Early 2021 will also see Disney Cruise Line offering sailings to the Bahamas and the Caribbean from Florida. Three ships will have this itinerary, and every cruise will include one day at Castaway Cay. Castaway Cay is perfect for relaxing or adventuring in a tropical setting full of Disney storytelling at its best.

The Disney Magic will sail three-, four- and five-night cruises from Miami, Florida, to the Bahamas and Western Caribbean. From Port Canaveral, the Disney Fantasy will sail seven-night itineraries to the Eastern and Western Caribbean. The Disney Dream will also sail from Port Canaveral on three- and four-night cruises to the Bahamas.
