One Disney park show has ended today – potentially on a permanent basis.
Entertainment is one of the things that has always separated Disney’s theme parks from its competitors. Whether you’re at Disneyland Resort or Tokyo Disney Resort, you’re guaranteed to be treated to performances, parades, and nighttime spectaculars that combine classic Disney music and storytelling to create something truly special.

While this is true of all Disney parks, Disneyland Paris has long been singled out for its exceptional entertainment. What its smallest park, Walt Disney Studios Park, lacks attractions and thematic cohesiveness, it makes up for with standout shows such as TOGETHER: a Pixar Musical Adventure and Mickey and the Magician. (The less said about Alice & the Queen of Hearts: Back to Wonderland, the better.)
As the park continues its renovations—which will eventually see it renamed Disney Adventure World—several of these offerings have been scrapped. As was announced last week, The Disney Junior Dream Factory is one of these fatalities.

Aimed at a Disney Jr.-aged audience, the show premiered in 2021 after its initial 2020 premiere was delayed by the pandemic. It follows Mickey and Minnie Mouse as they try to get the Dream Factory’s dream-making machines up and running, with the pair joined by characters from the network of the same name, such as Fancy Nancy, Timon, and Vampirina.
Today marks the show’s final performances, which have drawn significant crowds at the French theme park.
There is a crowd this afternoon at the doors of Studio D for the last of the show La Fabrique de Rêves by Disney Junior which will not return for several months, Disneyland Paris announced on Monday. ⚙️✨

While Disney has noted that the show may return at a later date, some guests remain skeptical. As DLP Report noted, “It’s hard to see how it would in its current form, with low attendance and outdated characters.”

In the meantime, the theater is set to host a Minnie Mouse meet and greet come November.
Fortunately, even if the show remains absent, there’s plenty more to come from Walt Disney Studios Park in the coming years. Not only is its entry land, Studio 1, undergoing a major transformation to become World Premiere, but the park is also set to welcome its own version of World of Frozen, plus Disney’s first land inspired by The Lion King (1994) – complete with a Pride Rock water ride à la Splash Mountain.
Other additions include a Tangled (2010) attraction and a lake around which Disney can host nighttime spectaculars.
