Disneyland Gives a Royal Welcome to Another Dining Spot Now Open!

Disneyland Resort has been slowly reopening the magic following the COVID-19 pandemic shutdown last year.

We’ve recently seen the Disneyland Monorail back up and running, as well as the announcement of more live entertainment returning to the Parks.

Now, we can reveal that the fan-favorite Royal Street Veranda has reopened in Disneyland Park!

Both Disney California Adventure and Disneyland Park welcomed Guests back to the Happiest Place on Earth back on April 30 this year. But not all dining locations were available when the Resort initially reopened.

Disneyland Resort has seen a phased reopening, and now Royal Street Veranda is open again for mobile order and standby.

Famous for their delicious fritters and amazing bread bowls, the New Orleans Square dining location is back and ready to serve the gumbo!

The Royal Street Veranda is a quick service location in New Orleans Square in Disneyland. It has been closed for this entire time, since March 2020, and yesterday it finally opened again! 

The official Royal Street Verandah description reads:

You’ve got it made in the shade with a scrumptious sourdough bowl of clam chowder, steak gumbo or vegetarian gumbo. Sit on the patio under a beautiful wrought-iron balcony and enjoy fritters and fountain beverages.

We can’t wait to go get a nice bread bowl filled with gumbo again, and watch the magic from the patio!
