Universal Studios’ annual Halloween Horror Nights continues to push the limits of fright and fun, and this year, one of its most notorious attractions has taken a soaking turn. The “blood bath” pathway in the Terrifier haunted house, already infamous among fans, has reportedly been made even wetter for 2025.

A source on social media shared the latest update: “🚨 TERRIFIER UPDATE 🚨 The ‘blood bath’ path has definitely gotten wetter. The water drips on the side have now turned into full faucets 🤯 However, it is still pretty easy to avoid getting soaked if you stick to the middle.”

This House Just Got More Scary

The Terrifier haunted house has long been a highlight for thrill-seekers visiting Universal Studios during the Halloween season. The so-called “blood bath” has become a fan-favorite moment, combining elaborate scares with a visually intense, immersive experience that pushes guests to navigate carefully while trying to avoid the gushing streams of fake blood.

Fans who have tackled the attraction in prior years know that the pathway’s unpredictability adds to the tension—and now, with the increase in water effects, the stakes feel higher than ever. Those hoping to stay dry may still have a chance if they stick to the middle of the path, but the experience promises even more surprises for attendees willing to fully embrace the chaos.

Will You Brave the Wet Path?

As Halloween Horror Nights ramps up for 2025, Universal continues to find inventive ways to shock and thrill fans, keeping the annual event fresh while honoring its reputation as one of the most extreme haunted experiences in the country.
