Between the construction of World of Frozen and the renovation of Disney Village, there’s a lot going on at Disneyland Paris right now – including a fresh government-mandated sale.

In recent years, the cost of visiting Disney parks has climbed steeply. At Disneyland Resort, one-day adult tickets can now top $200, with food, drinks, and merchandise following the same upward trend. Guests also face mounting pressure to pay for costly extras like Lightning Lanes — or, for those willing to splurge, the even pricier Lightning Lane Premier Access.

As the domestic parks surge in price, some fans have taken to voyaging further afield to get their Disney fix. Tokyo Disney Resort has become particularly popular, with tickets that convert to as little as $55 per person. Recent reports have suggested that these prices may be slashed even further, with Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea charging guests less in an effort to ramp up attendance at the two theme parks.

Disneyland Paris is also another popular choice, with one-day tickets that start at $75 per adult (and can cost even less if taking advantage of deals like the ongoing Family & Friends offer).

Government-Mandated Sales Hit Disneyland Paris

From this week, a trip to Disneyland Paris can be even cheaper as the resort unleashes its summer sale, as mandated by the French government.

In France, retailers are only permitted to sell products at a loss during designated periods known as “les soldes.” These state-regulated sales occur twice a year—once in summer and once in winter. Discounted items must be clearly marked with both original and sale prices and kept separate from full-priced stock.

This year’s summer sale, or “les soldes d’été,” runs from June 25 to July 22, 2025.

Disneyland Paris kicked off its sales accordingly on Wednesday, offering up to 50% off select merchandise throughout the resort. Judging by images shared by DLP Report, this includes the likes of certain Spirit Jerseys, hoodies, mugs, plushies, and other Disney-themed items.

While discounts are already decent, last summer’s sales saw items later reduced by up to 70% later in the sales period.

Walt Disney Studios Park is undergoing a major transformation and will be rebranded as Disney Adventure World when the World of Frozen land opens in 2026. The World Premiere Plaza officially debuted in May 2025, replacing Studio 1 and parts of Production Courtyard. Styled as a glamorous Hollywood entryway, the updated area features the indoor Hollywood Gardens Restaurant, Mickey’s of Hollywood Boutique, and a redesigned plaza that sets the stage for the rest of the park.

Construction is progressing across the park, with several new themed lands and attractions underway. World of Frozen, which has also been called the Kingdom of Arendelle, will include the Frozen Ever After boat ride, character experiences, a themed restaurant, and retail offerings surrounding a central lake. It will be followed by Disney’s first-ever Lion King Land, featuring a Pride Lands flume ride and African-inspired dining.

Meanwhile, Adventure Way – the connecting promenade between Worlds of Pixar and the new lands – will include a Tangled-themed spinner ride and an Up-inspired attraction. A new restaurant, Regal View Restaurant & Lounge, will offer sweeping views of the lake and an elevated dining experience. All of these additions are designed to give the park a more immersive and cohesive identity following years of criticism about its lack of theming.

Meanwhile, Disney Village is in the midst of a large-scale renovation, shedding its original 1990s aesthetic in favor of a more modern, streamlined design. Several updated or new locations have already opened, including Disney Glamour, Disney Style, and Brasserie Rosalie. The LEGO Store has been refurbished, and a new concept store, Deco by Disney, has launched. Work is ongoing, with a newly built McDonald’s expected to open in 2026, marking a new chapter for the shopping and dining district.

Disneyland Paris has confirmed that Disney Sequoia Lodge – its iconic Lake Disney retreat, similar in theming to Wilderness Lodge at Disney World – will begin a full-scale renovation in 2026, planned in phases to keep the hotel operational. The refurb will refresh every space, including all 1,000+ rooms, while retaining its beloved wooden décor and rustic charm.

The redesign will brighten interiors, integrate modern touches, and pay homage to Disney’s forest-themed characters beyond the current Bambi motifs, using sustainably sourced materials.

“The design will pay homage to the beauty of nature to the next level, while taking inspiration from the forests following the tradition started by Walt Disney and his team of animators,” Disneyland Paris explained. “Every space, from the rooms to the lobby, as well as the shopping and dining locations, will be reinvented as an ode to wildlife, offering the perfect environment to unwind and let one’s mind wander.”

Meanwhile, at Disney Davy Crockett Ranch, the replacement of its 584 cabins is already underway, with the first new spaces – featuring interiors inspired by Donald Duck, Daisy Duck, and the Junior Woodchucks – available to book from June 12 for stays after summer 2025.
