The closure of Jellyrolls, a popular piano bar and lounge found at Disney’s BoardWalk Resort, has been rumored for months, though the location may now officially be on its final legs. As reported by WDWNT, Jellyrolls is expected to close sometime in 2025, but the original timeline for this operational change has been altered.

Previous reports claimed Jellyrolls would close permanently at the beginning of next year, falling amid many other changes at and around Disney’s BoardWalk.

However, sources now claim the venue will last longer than originally expected, potentially giving guests more time to enjoy Jellyrolls’ unique blend of adult beverages and live entertainment.

Sources indicate that the popular piano bar Jellyrolls at Disney’s BoardWalk will still close permanently in the near future, but the timeline for that closure has shifted. WDWNT sources still claim Jellyrolls will close in 2025, but not as early as January.

Disney is rumored to be giving the bar and lounge a makeover and has reportedly already begun casting new performers for the remodeled experience. It’s possible the new location will make its debut in late 2025, but fans should probably expect it in 2026 at the earliest.

Disney’s BoardWalk has received a number of upgrades and overhauls in recent times, with the resort’s newest location, The Cake Bake Shop by Gwendolyn Rogers, proving to be quite controversial.

If Jellyrolls does in fact end up on the chopping block, it will join other locations set to close permanently at Walt Disney World, with the resort set to enact unprecedented levels of change in 2025.

Starting at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, Disney confirmed earlier this year DinoLand U.S.A. would be closing at the start of 2025. The land will shut down in phases, beginning with the Chester & Hester section of the area. DINOSAUR, the land’s E-ticket attraction, will remain open through 2025.

Magic Kingdom will also be losing several attractions and experiences, with Disney also confirming that Tom Sawyer Island and the Rivers of America will be closing to make way for a new expansion based on Pixar’s Cars franchise.

Disney’s Hollywood Studios finds itself in the same boat, with the park’s Muppets Courtyard set to close in the coming years to make way for a brand-new land based on Pixar’s Monsters Inc. franchise. EPCOT appears to be the park with the least going on in the coming years, though guests never truly know what Disney may announce next.
