Right now, Mattel seems to be on top of the world. Not only is it behind the most successful movie of 2023, but it is also moving forward with a new theme park in Glendale, AZ, called Mattel Adventure Park. But according to a recent announcement, that won’t be their only location.
The toy company has announced a second Mattel Adventure Park, and this time, it is coming to Kansas City, KS. The park will offer many of the same thrills as the Arizona location, including the Hot Wheels Bone Shaker: The Ultimate Ride, the Hot Wheels Twin Mill Racer, and a Hot Wheels go-kart raceway. But that’s not all!

After the success of Greta Gerwig‘s Barbie (2023) starring Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling, you know that Mattel Adventure Park Kansas City is going to go full out on Barbie doll attractions. This includes a larger-than-life Barbie Beach House, a Barbie Dream Closet Experience, and a Barbie Rooftop Bar & Restaurant. Now we just need to see if American Girl and Monster High will get the same treatment.
Finally, the park will have even more individual experiences based on Mattel brands, including the Masters of the Universe-themed He-Man vs. Skeletor Laser Tag, a mini-golf course themed after various board games (including the Magic 8 Ball, Uno, and Pictionary), a Kerplunk Drop Tower, and a children’s area themed after Thomas & Friends: World of Sodor.
