Earlier this year, VAI Resort (previously known as Crystal Lagoons Island Resort) announced a partnership with toy company Mattel to create the brand-new Mattel Adventure Park, set to open in Glendale, Arizona in 2024. Mattel is best known for franchises like Barbie, Hot Wheels, Fisher-Price, Thomas & Friends, and more. The new Park promises to bring these beloved toys to life in attractions, entertainment, shopping, and dining experiences.

The Park will be part of the much larger VAI Resort, which will feature a hotel with over 1,000 rooms, 13 restaurants, a multi-level concert venue, a two-story nightclub, a wedding chapel, a 400-foot tethered hot air balloon, an 11-acre Public Access Lagoon with a 52,000 square foot island, and various other one-of-a-kind entertainment offerings. When construction is finished, it will be the largest Resort in Arizona and have its newest theme Park.
