Carrie Fisher is one of the most beloved actresses in Hollywood history. The daughter of Debbie Reynolds, Carrie Fisher has starred in such films as When Harry Met Sally… (1989), Shampoo (1975), Hannah and Her Sisters (1986), and guest-starring in 30 Rock (2007) and the British show Catastrophe (2017).
She also worked as a writer, creating the one-woman show Wishful Drinking (2006), scribing books like Postcards From the Edge (1987) and The Princess Diarist (2016), and doctoring multiple scripts, including Hook (1991), the Sister Act (1992), Anastasia (1997), and The Wedding Singer (1998).
However, Fisher is most well-known for playing Princess Leia in George Lucas’ Star Wars franchise, usually alongside Mark Hamill and Harrison Ford.
