Credit: DisneyWith so many rides and attractions coming to the Walt Disney World Resort in the coming months, Disney Guests have a lot to look forward to. Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure and The upcoming Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind are both super exciting parts of EPCOT’s current transformation. Mickey and Minnie Runaway Railway and the entirety of Star Wars:Â Galaxy’s Edge has proved to be insanely popular amongst Guests as well.

But one key attraction has yet to come to fruition and after being left out of D23’s newest lineup of upcoming attractions, many Guests are wondering if it will be getting yet another delay.
It was announced multiple years ago now that Tron Lightcycle/Run, the popular Shanghai Disneyland roller coaster, would be coming to Disney World’s Magic Kingdom, right next to Space Mountain. Originally slated for 2021 as a way to celebrate Walt Disney World’s 50th anniversary, the ride has received several delays. Disney has not announced when the attraction would open, and now, it seems that 2022 may be out of the question. One can only hope some of that amazing Daft Punk-produced score will be a part of the ride as well when it finally releases.

Now, Guests have noticed the ride is yet again missing from D23’s newest lineup of “things to look forward to from Disney”, possibly hinting at another delay for the attraction. The list includes various new and exciting entertainment experiences that Disney fans can look forward to. Fans of Disney and Pixar animation can look forward to Disney Animation’s Strange World (2022) as well as Pixar’s Turning Red (2022). Marvel fans can get excited for Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness (2022), Thor Love and Thunder (2022) and Black Panther: Wakanda Forever (2022).

One of the most exciting things Guests can look forward to is the upcoming Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind. This attraction will feature all of your favorite characters from The Guardians of the Galaxy series like Star-Lord/Peter Quill (Chris Pratt), Drax (Dave Bautista), Gamora (Zoe Saldana) as well as Rocket Raccoon (Bradley Cooper) and Groot (Vin Diesel). The ride is scheduled for a 2022 release at EPCOT.
