Happy Holidays, Disney fans! While we may not have celebrated Thanksgiving just yet, for Disney, the Christmas holidays have already begun. One Walt Disney World Resort Park is preparing for an extra special holiday this year. That’s right, EPCOT’s International Festival of the Holidays will begin soon, and Disney is revealing more experiences that can be expected to go along with the festival.

Unlike Magic Kingdom’s Very Merriest After Hours, the EPCOT International Festival of the Holiday (November 26 – December 30) is included with valid Theme Park admission! This means it’s time to throw on those Mickey ears or Santa hats and celebrate the holidays in EPCOT’s unique way.
Previously, Disney announced EPCOT’s Candlelight Processional will make a return after a year off due to COVID-19. The full celebrity narrator list was shared which we covered noting fan-favorite, Neil Patrick Harris is missing from the list.

Disney has also announced however that “JOYFUL! A Celebration of the Season” will make a return this year on the Showcase Plaza Stage. The Showcase Plaza Stage can’t be missed as it is located at the main entrance of the World Showcase portion of the Park, where Guests decide if they are going left to Mexico or right to Canada. Disney has promised a “stirring and uplifting performance of music celebrating Christmas and Kwanzaa” filled with energy.

Confirming what we previously shared, the World Showcase Holiday storytellers are making a return! You’ll also be able to experience musical acts and other performers throughout the Disney Park. For example, the Canadian Holiday Voyageurs and their musical memories across the Great White North will be providing entertainment, along with the Chinese Lion Dance, Italy’s La Befana, France’s Père Noël, and more.
Of course, the jolly Santa Claus himself will be available at the EPCOT Festival from November 26 through December 24 in The American Adventure Pavilion. Disney notes you can “step right up and let him know your fondest wish for Christmas.”

Let’s not forget that EPCOT has a lengthy list of delicious Holiday Kitchens brimming with holiday sweets that are all part of EPCOT’s Holiday tradition. Plus, who else simply can’t wait to check out this year’s Holiday Cookie Stroll?
