If you have are planning a Walt Disney World vacation, it is always important to check if there is availability for both Park Pass reservations and theme park tickets prior to booking your stay.
Select days for the remainder of 2021 are currently not available for one-day theme park tickets and Park Hopper tickets for Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Disney’s Animal Kingdom, and Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
We went to the Walt Disney World website to try and purchase a one-day theme park ticket — which will give you access to Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Disney’s Animal Kingdom, or Disney’s Hollywood Studios — and when we got to the calendar webpage, we noticed that a certain number of days were blocked out. At the time of publication, November 22, 23, 26, and December 20, 28, 29, and 30 are all blocked for new ticket sales, which you can see in the screenshots below.
This is also the case for Park Hopper tickets.
Inside the Magic has spoken with Disney since this article’s original publication regarding the current ticket availability and clarified that the theme park ticket availability on the website is based on the Park Pass reservation availability, and the Walt Disney World website has always outlined when Guests can and cannot purchase ticket types. Walt Disney World has not paused ticket sales, aside from new Annual Pass purchases.
Earlier today, we reported that Walt Disney World Resort paused the sales of new Annual Passes for the top-tier Disney Incredi-Pass, the Disney Sorcerer Pass, the Disney Pirate Pass. At the time of publication, the most affordable option, the Disney Pixie Dust Pass, still shows availability on the Walt Disney World website.
We want to make it clear that the current ticket availability on the Walt Disney World website is not relating to the pause of Annual Pass sales.
It is always best to check the official Walt Disney World website for the most up-to-date information on ticket sales and availability.
