If you are a fan of Walt Disney World, you likely know that with the magic comes the crowds.
During the year, there are both better and worse times to visit the Parks in terms of crowd sizes that are expected to show up. The busiest months tend to be times when younger Guests are out of school or have a break, such as holidays or summertime. Having moved to Orlando, I can definitely say that although summer can get busy, Christmas is definitely the busiest time of year.

Christmas has now begun at Disney, and with Thanksgiving around the corner, this week is a popular one for Guests to come and visit the Park since many have a long holiday weekend from work! The crowds have been growing, but now as we look at the Disney Park Pass reservation calendar, we can see that both Theme Park Ticket Guests and Resort Ticket Guests no longer have any availability for any of the four theme parks through Friday! This is not something we have seen for a few months at Disney World.

Disney World Annual Passholders have limited availability, depending on their Annual Pass type, which is likely to go soon. Right now, the Incredi-Pass has open spots for Guests each day, but not at all of the Parks. Just yesterday, Disney announced that they would be pausing Annual Pass sales; for the time being. This is something we have seen with certain levels of the Magic Key at Disneyland too. The Pixie Dust Pass is still available for purchase. It seems likely that this is due to all of the crowds that will be incoming to Disney World over the next month.

If you have a Disney Park Pass reservation for this week, you should expect to see big crowds at any of the Parks you visit. If you want to skip the line, be sure to purchase Disney Genie+ on your My Disney Experience app. This will allow you to select return times for certain attractions and use the Lightning Lane (formerly, FastPass) and beat the crowds! The addition will cost you $15.00 per Guest per day.
