Disney previously shared the news that Disney+ Day, in honor of Disney+ two year anniversary, will be celebrated on Friday, November 12. The celebration brings new, exciting shows to Disney+. Not only do you benefit when streaming Disney+, but if you’re a Disney+ subscriber you can also benefit IN the Parks! That’s right, Walt Disney World Resort is rolling out the BLUE carpet for Disney+ Day.

Disney has announced that for Disney+ Day, all Disney+ subscribers with a valid Park ticket or pass and Disney Theme Park reservations for the day, will have a chance to enjoy special benefits at Walt Disney World Resort. The first benefit for Guests will be the ability to enter the Parks 30 minutes before the regular Park open. This is normally a perk that is only offered to Disney Resort Guests with early Theme Park entry.
If you’re visiting Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Disney+ subscribers will also have the chance to be welcomed with a blue carpet experience, including special photo opportunities throughout the Park. Plus up your photos with complimentary Disney PhotoPass digital download(s) taken at select locations, offered especially to Disney+ subscribers via the My Disney Experience app.
Early entry and special photo ops… but the fun doesn’t stop there! Disney has also shared that fan-favorite Disney+ characters are also joining the festivities with appearances around the Park. Which Disney+ characters can we expect to see? Disney has yet to reveal those details… but we’re extra curious!
Disney will also have a few more “surprises in store” for subscribers who visit on Disney+ Day at Walt Disney World Resort. Be sure to check out the event guide directly in the My Disney Experience mobile app.
Can’t be in the Park on Disney+ Day? The My Disney Experience app will have a special appearance from Grogu (AKA “Baby Yoda”). This all-new AR feature rolls out November 12, and just for Disney+ Day, you will be able to experience Grogu right from home!

PLUS – Disney+ subscribers will enjoy more special benefits from home with free shipping on shopDisney from November 12-14.
