The Land pavilion in EPCOT is home to attractions, restaurants, and quick-service locations including Soarin’ Around the World, Living with the Land, the Awesome Planet film, Garden Grill restaurant, and the Sunshine Seasons Food Court.
Though this pavilion has not received an update in a very long time, it seems as though Disney is planning on performing some type of construction work on The Land, per a new permit.

Disney recently filed a permit for “general construction” work for the location of The Land pavilion in EPCOT.
Although not much other information is listed on the permit, it is clear that Disney is working with New Horizon Construction Services on some type of construction work for The Land pavilion at EPCOT. As with any other permit, this could be minor construction work, such as simple maintenance, or it could be related to something a bit bigger such as installing new elements or an overhaul.
Though, because Disney has not announced any type of major work being done on The Land pavilion in EPCOT, we can suspect that whatever construction work this is for is probably more minor. Inside the Magic will update you as we get more information.
Disney also recently filed a permit for construction in the Mexico pavilion in World Showcase, which you can read more about here.
