Disney World’s 50th anniversary is in full swing and there are a ton of amazing things happening during The World’s Most Magical Celebration — which will last 18 months, until May 2023. Guests visiting Walt Disney World can see new nighttime shows like Disney Enchantment and Harmonious, can ride the new attraction, Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure, and taste a bunch of new specialty treats.
While all the new shows and attractions are exciting, there is something more that Guests can do to make their trip even more magical. Disney PhotoPass is getting in on the 50th excitement and adding a number of new Magic Shots and other photo opportunities that Guests can take advantage of during their Disney World vacation.
Disney Parks Blog shared more information on the exciting new photo enhancements:
The World’s Most Magical Celebration obviously calls for Magic Shots! The theme? EARidescence, of course! Disney PhotoPass photographers are so excited to capture special Magic Shots for you all around Walt Disney World Resort. Below I’ve shared where you can find each of them. But don’t worry about memorizing those locations: You can ask any Disney PhotoPass photographer you visit what Magic Shots they offer at their location (we offer more than 50 across Walt Disney World Resort!) and where you can find 50th anniversary celebration Magic Shots.
Not only will Guests be able to have Magic Shots added to their PhotoPass photos, there will also be special Nighttime Icon Magic Shot photos that can be taken in front of the Beacons of Magic — which are Cinderella Castle, the Tree of Life at Animal Kingdom, Tower of Terror at Hollywood Studios, and Spaceship Earth at EPCOT.
Disney is also offering a brand-new type of video — the Super Zoom Magic Shot. The new Magic Shot video will feature your party front and center at Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, or Hollywood Studios, and then zoom out to show the entire area around you. It is truly an amazing video experience for Guests to take advantage of.
It is important to note that not all Magic Shots will be available at all PhotoPass locations, so Guests should ask each individual PhotoPass photographer which Magic Shots they can add to the photos.
