As one chapter closes, another one opens. On Wednesday, September 29, 2021, we said goodbye to Happily Ever After as the show retired to make way for a brand-new nighttime spectacular called Disney Enchantment, which will officially debut to Guests tonight, October 1, for Disney World’s 50th anniversary.
And as Happily Ever After is now officially retired, its poster, which resided underneath the train tracks as you enter Magic Kingdom, has been replaced with a new Disney Enchantment poster.
As you can see in the photo above, which was taken today, October 1, at Magic Kingdom, a new Disney Enchantment poster is now on display under the train station. This posted sits alongside other iconic posters including Splash Mountain, Big Thunder Mountain, Hall of Presidents, and others.
Disney Enchantment will debut tonight, October 1, for the first time to all Guests. Select media was able to see a special preview of Disney Enchantment, to which Inside the Magic attended. You can read about our review of the new nighttime show here.
Many fans are sad to see Happily Ever After end, but others are excited to see what the next chapter holds. Disney Enchantment will last for the entire 50th anniversary, which will go on for 18 months.
Are you excited for Disney to debut an all-new fireworks show for the 50th anniversary? Do you think Disney Enchantment will be better than Happily Ever After? Let us know in the comments!
