EPCOT’s World Showcase Remains Deserted Despite Food & Wine Festival

Even though during the Walt Disney Company Q3 earnings call, it was mentioned that Disney World is still seeing a “strong per cap growth continue in the Park”, we have seen minimal crowds these last few weeks.

In fact, I was visiting EPCOT last week and when in World Showcase, I was expecting it to be a bit busier as the Food & Wine Festival is currently going on, but much to my surprise, it felt deserted! It seems this is still the case as one Reddit user posted some recent photos of various pavilions, each showing World Showcase looking completely abandoned.

The link that the Reddit user posted showcased even more photos, including The American Adventure, the Italy pavilion, the Germany pavilion, and the China pavilion, all of which can be seen below.

In each of these photos, it is clear that Food & Wine is not as busy as it normally is as barely any Guests can be seen in any of the photos.

We do want to note that at the time of publication, we still have yet to hear an exact number when it comes to Park capacity, but that last confirmed number was 35%, which was released earlier this year.
