For Walt Disney World’s 50th anniversary, the theme parks are bringing unique and one-of-a-kind experiences. One of the things Guests will be able to enjoy during this celebration are interactive character statues featuring beloved Disney Parks characters!
We already knew that Timon and Pumbaa from Disney’s animated classic, The Lion King as well as two members of the Fab Five — Goofy and Mickey Mouse — would be included in the 50 interactive statues. Additionally, Disney recently announced Winnie the Pooh and Piglet and the Cheshire Cat would be included in the Fab 50 statues.
Now, we are learning that one iconic Pixar duo will be featured on a statue — Woody and Bo Peep from the Toy Story franchise!
Pixar took to Instagram to share this wonderful news, writing:
Annie Potts, the voice of Bo Peep, announced that both Bo Peep and Woody will soon be part of the “Disney Fab 50 Character Collection” at the @waltdisneyworld Resort during “The World’s Most Magical Celebration” starting October 1 #DisneyWorld50
These 50 golden character statues will honor those who have shaped Disney for us in one way or another and we cannot wait to see who else is added to this incredible lineup so far!
Inside the Magic will continue to update you as we get information regarding the Disney Fab 50 Character Collection.
