Walt Disney World Resort is already celebrating Halloween, with Disneyland Resort’s spooky season just around the corner starting September 3. And now, it’s time to get ready for Christmas cheer because tickets are now available for the all-new special event at Disney World, Disney Very Merriest After Hours!
Here’s what you need to know if you want to buy tickets for the Disney Christmas After Hours event at Walt Disney World Resort.
Disney Very Merriest After Hours is the all-new Disney After Hours event at Disney World’s Magic Kingdom this year. Two years ago, Disney fans traveled to Walt Disney World to celebrate the holidays at Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, an annual special ticketed holiday event hosted at Magic Kingdom. Due to the pandemic and many health and safety protocols that were in place, Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party was not hosted at Magic Kingdom last year in 2020. And for 2021, Disney has announced a new offering that is taking the place of MVMCP: Disney Very Merriest After Hours.
Following the trend of After Hours events at the Disney Parks — Disney After Hours Boo Bash also replaced Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party this year — Disney is hosting this new Christmas event in 2021 with lower crowds, a variety of rides available, and holiday cheer in the Park. And now, tickets are official available for purchase online.
You can purchase these Disney Park special event tickets online in a couple of ways. First, you can visit the official Disney Very Merriest After Hours webpage, and then click on “Purchase Tickets,” as pictured below.
Another way is you can visit the Special Event Tickets webpage. There, as it is only August, you will see tickets available for purchase for both Disney After Hours events being sold right now: Boo Bash and Very Merriest.

Tickets for Disney Very Merriest After Hours range in price from $169 per Guest to $249 per Guest. As tickets have just been made available for purchase, all event nights are available as of this article’s publication.
