A fan-favorite happening at Disneyland’s Haunted Mansion is the Nightmare Before Christmas overlay that occurs during the fall and winter months. Jack Skellington takes over the Mansion as he brings both Halloween and Christmas elements into the iconic ride.

Many wish that Walt Disney World  would also bring the Haunted Mansion Holiday seasonal overlay to their version of the attraction. Though at this time there has been no word on if this would ever happen, did you know that you can still catch some Nightmare Before Christmas elements inside Disney World’s Haunted Mansion?

And lastly, when you are approaching the mausoleum scene as well as the exit, watching out for the traveling hitchhiker as he is holding a marble bust that pays tribute to Haunted Mansion Holiday:

The Travelling Hitchhiker has an open bag with a marble bust of famous Victorian author Charles Dickens. This is a nod to a deleted concept for Haunted Mansion Holiday where it would have taken much more influence from Charles Dickens’s novel the Christmas Carol.
