Universal Orlando Resort is home to two theme parks and one fantastic water park! Universal Studios Florida, Universal’s Islands of Adventure, and Volcano Bay. As these parks are open year-round Universal needs to conduct regular maintenance on the attractions.
Some of your favorite attractions may be unavailable when you visit due to scheduled maintenance. Here is what will not be available this July at Universal Orlando Resort so that you can better plan your Universal vacation.
Universal Studios Florida has plenty of attractions to keep you entertained on your next visit. The same attractions remain unavailable compared to last month. However, Universal has opened a brand new attraction called DreamWorks Destination, you can read more about that attraction here.

- FEAR FACTOR LIVE
While select attractions are down for refurbishment in July, Universal’s Islands of Adventure just opened a brand new attraction, the VelociCoaster. The VelociCoaster is a high-speed adventure roller coaster themed after the Jurassic World films. It is a can’t miss attraction for all thrill-seekers.

Orlando is very hot in July, the best place to cool down this summer is undoubtedly at Universal’s Volcano Bay. The best news about this is that there are no attractions currently scheduled for refurbishment at Volcano Bay in July! So you will be able to experience everything Volcano Bay has to offer.
As you can see there are little to no interruptions in July happening at Universal Orlando Resort due to refurbishments. If you are heading to the Resort in July pack some sunscreen and get ready to have loads of fun!
Remember that Universal CityWalk is currently open and a great place to take a break from the theme parks to grab lunch or dinner, or do some souvenir shopping. A new dining offering just opened at CityWalk called Bend the Bao and you can read more about that here.
