Universal CityWalk at the Universal Orlando Resort is a fun-filled shopping and dining center that connects both Universal Studios Florida and Universal Islands of Adventure.
It is the perfect place to go for a bite to eat during your Universal vacation, and now it is receiving a brand new restaurant called, Bend the Bao. Here is everything you need to know about this exciting new offering coming to CityWalk.
Bend the Bao will open tomorrow, June 15, and offer delicious bao creations to satisfy any craving.
Here is what Universal told us about what we can expect from the menu of Bend the Bao:
Bend The Bao will be the latest original concept dining experience created exclusively by Universal Orlando, combining unique theming with an extraordinary twist on the traditional quick service restaurant. Incredibly-colorful pop art representing the creatures of the Chinese Zodiac will welcome guests to the venue, where they can grab tasty bao buns like the Crab Cake Bao with Maryland-style crab cake, shredded lettuce and mustard aioli, the Duck Bao with braised duck, kimchee slaw, XO sauce, cilantro and five spice aioli, and more.
Bend the Bao is located at the recently closed Fusion Bistro Sushi & Sake location, which has since been transformed into the colorful Bend the Bao restaurant. Located on the second floor of Universal’s CityWalk, Bend the Bao is a quick-service dining location – making it the perfect place to grab a quick lunch before heading into the theme parks.
We have been covering the transformation of the new restaurant, and you can see photos of the exterior of the building here.
