The highly anticipated Universal Studios Japan expansion, Super Nintendo World, opened this year to much praise! With two attractions, themed dining, and plenty of interactive elements inside the land, Guests are truly transported into the world of Mario.
For those visitors who may have mobility issues or other conditions that may inhibit them from riding some attractions, Universal created one adorable solution to ensure every Guest can enjoy Super Nintendo World.
Many attractions at theme parks all over the world include ride vehicles that are wheelchair accessible. This allows for as many Guests as possible to have the ability to enjoy attractions comfortably and safely.
Yoshi’s Adventure at Universal Studios Japan is no exception to that! Typically riders would board a Yoshi to enjoy the attraction. Thanks to Twitter user @onoheytrip we see that the wheelchair-accessible vehicle is a Yoshi Egg instead of a Yoshi!

This is such a great touch as it gives each and every Guest the opportunity to enjoy a highly themed experience inside Super Nintendo World.
Here is how Universal describes Yoshi’s Adventure attraction:
Hang on to Yoshi as you search for Captain Toad on a treasure hunt!
Use the Captain’s map to find 3 mysterious eggs!
Get a spectacular view of the Mushroom Kingdom from Mount Beanpole while having fun on this ride that’s perfect for the whole family.
According to the Universal Studios Japan website, the Mario Kart ride, Mario Kart: Koopa’s Challange is also wheelchair accessible.
Universal is currently constructing a Super Nintendo World inside of Universal Studios Hollywood. In addition, we also know that Super Nintendo World will be making its way to both Universal Orlando Resort as well as Universal Studios Singapore.
