Universal is adding Super Nintendo World to their theme parks around the globe. Right now Universal Studios Japan (USJ) has completed the construction of their Super Nintendo World expansion, but the grand opening was indefinitely delayed.
Universal Studios Hollywood (USH) is currently constructing their Super Nintendo World expansion, however, it appears noticeably smaller than its USJ counterpart.

The Super Nintendo World that is already completed in Universal Studios Japan is massive and it features two brand-new attractions — Mario Kart: Koopa’s Challenge and Yoshi’s Adventure. You see can our full guide to Super Nintendo World at UJS here.
If you are a Universal Studios Hollywood fan you know that space is always an issue in the park when it comes to expansions and new attractions and therefore, it seems like there is no space around the park for a massive expansion, such as Super Nintendo World.

In order to build Super Nintendo World on the lower lot of the theme park, Universal did have to remove some sound stages that were previously used for the film studio.

We have been following the construction of Super Nintendo World at Universal Studios Hollywood and noticed that one attraction, Yoshi’s Adventure, seems to be missing from the land. This is not surprising as the space for the land is lesser than its counterpart in Japan. But Universal has not given any official word on what fans can expect from the Universal Studios Hollywood version of Super Nintendo World.

Thanks to theme park reporter @SoCalExploring, we see a great view of the construction. While you can see the mountains and Bowser’s iconic castle begin to take shape, we do not see any indication of Yoshi’s Adventure. Again, Universal has not given details on Super Nintendo World in USJ so all we can do is observe and wait for confirmation:

Yoshi’s Adventure is described by Universal as a slow-moving family ride that is full of excitement! You board a colorful Yoshi and take a ride through the vibrant Super Nintendo World:
Hang on to Yoshi as you search for Captain Toad on a treasure hunt! Get a spectacular view of the Mushroom Kingdom from Mount Beanpole while having fun on this ride that’s perfect for the whole family.
The attraction takes place both indoors and outdoors, high above Super Nintendo World. It takes up a generous amount of space which is why it may not appear in the USH version.

We will be waiting for more information about what is coming to Universal Studios Hollywood Super Nintendo World, but we are so excited to visit once things are completed.
What do you think? Will the Super Nintendo World at Universal Studios Hollywood be smaller than other versions of the land? Let us know in the comments!
