WEB SLINGERS will put you right in the center of the action after Peter Parker’s new spider-bots begin to multiply and escape the WEB facility. With the help of Spider-Man (no idea where Peter went), it is your job to stop the bots before they wreak complete havoc.

Embark on an action-packed adventure alongside the amazing Spider-Man! When Peter Parker’s helpful but otherwise buggy Spider-Bots get stuck in replication mode and escape from a WEB Workshop, Spider-Man must stop the rampaging robots before they wreak total techno-havoc across Avengers Campus. Problem is, they’re rapidly leveling up and becoming tough to beat!

Your task? Hop aboard a WEB Slinger vehicle and help weave a frenzied web to trap these friendly neighborhood sidekicks in true Spidey style. It’s up to you to unleash your inner hero and save the Campus from complete chaos!

The more spider-bots you are able to stop with your spider webs, the higher your score will be. Not only will you be able to see your own personal score, but WEB SLINGERS shows daily, weekly, and monthly rankings on screens when you exit the ride. Here are some tricks and tips to help you reach a top rank and possibly see your own name in lights!

Guests visiting Avengers Campus at Disney California Adventure Park, opening June 4, 2021, will find the latest Super Hero gadgets at the WEB Suppliers store. Pictured here, interactive Spider-Bots, much like the ones seen throughout Avengers Campus, are powered by a remote control with eight articulated legs that move forward and backward. Guests may customize their Spider-Bot with tactical upgrades to harness the powers and style of some of their favorite Super Heroes. (David Roark/Disneyland Resort)

Aim for the Gold Spider-Bots

Not all spider-bots are created equal on the new attraction. The ride will feature bots that are red, blue, green, and gold. The scoring — from the fewest points to most points — goes as follows:

  • Red Spider-Bots
  • Blue Spider-Bots
  • Green Spider-Bots
  • Gold Spider-Bots

Red Spider-Bots will be the most common ones you see since they are worth the least, but make sure to stay on alert for the blue, green, and rare gold ones.

Pay Attention to Doors and Cubbies

Throughout the ride, you may see a door, or a hidden cubby, or maybe even a lever. Aim for those, and you may be able to trigger special effects within the attraction that could allow you an opportunity to gain even more points. Not every door will open and not every lever will be able to be pulled, but try your luck and you may be shocked to see what happens!

Keep An Eye Out for Easter Eggs

This is a skill that will develop more once Guests are able to ride the attraction more than once per day — and when they are able to use an Annual Pass to attend the park more frequently. Marvel is famous for the Easter eggs that can be found throughout its Cinematic Universe and WEB SLINGERS is no different. Triggering these Easter eggs may open additional levels of gameplay and allow the rider to score even more points.

Purchase a Power Band

This is one of the more controversial ways to score points on the new WEB SLINGERS attraction. The base WEB Power Band will cost $35, with upgrades themed to Spider-Man, Ghost Spider, Iron Man, and Rescue-themed upgrades available for an additional $30.

The Spider-Man and Ghost Spider Power Bands will allow you to shoot electro-charged webs, and the Iron Man and Rescue Power Bands will allow you to shoot repulsor blasts. Both of those powers will allow you to hit more Spider-Bots and therefore, increase gain more points at one time.

The Power Bands are available for purchase at both WEB Suppliers, as well as the Disneyland Resort Backlot Premiere Shop.

Our Review

The technology used on WEB SLINGERS is amazing. The ride has sensors that follow your every movement and are able to react precisely to what you do and when you do it. But beware, the ride could almost be considered a workout regime – trying to shoot webs as quickly as possible to wrack up points can be very tiring.

Also, do not get too upset if your score isn’t as high as you would like on your first ride. There is so much to see and take in, it can seem overwhelming, but in an exciting way. Marvel is never one to skimp on the details, so you will be able to ride the attraction numerous times and always see something new!

WEB SLINGERS is a great new attraction that fits in seamlessly in Avengers Campus (Anaheim, CA). And since there is no height requirement, it is perfect for superheroes of all ages!

Please note that, at this time, WEB SLINGERS: A Spider-Man Adventure will operate on a solely virtual queue and theme park Guests will only be able to experience the attraction once per day.

Disneyland Resort Guests will be able to try to join a boarding group twice per day — at 7 a.m. and 12 p.m. — just like Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance. It is also important to remember that theme park Guests with Park Hopper tickets will only be able to join one boarding group at a time and are not able to have a boarding group for Rise of the Resistance and WEB SLINGERS at the same time.

Why isn’t Spider-Man: No Way Home on Disney+?

Unfortunately, Disney does not own the movie; it’s part of a complicated arrangement with Sony. Hopefully, Disney plus can come to an agreement with Sony to include it on the streaming service in the future for all Tom Holland Spider-Man fans.
