For many Walt Disney World Resort Guests, staying at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort is the icing on top of an incredible vacation. The Disney Deluxe Resort boasts a tropical aesthetic that instantly transports Guests to the South Pacific!
Below, you can see photos taken yesterday of construction progress on the Resort hote’s Monorail station area, which is seemingly nearing completion. The Polynesian Resort’s Great Ceremonial House and pool area are also currently under construction.
The interior of Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort has also undergone changes, with Guest rooms undergoing a Moana-themed refurbishment! Disney World fans have already gotten a look inside of the completed rooms — and they are truly magical.

At this time, the Resort does not have an official reopening date, but the extremely popular ‘Ohana restaurant will be reopening to Guests on July 9, with reservations officially opening on June 10.

It is important to note that the Disney Vacation Club Villas and overwater bungalows at the Resort are currently available to Disney Vacation Club Members only. Monorail service to the hotel is currently suspended.
