When Disneyland Resort reopened on April 30, 2021, following a lengthy COVID-19-related closure, only select dining establishments were available to Guests.
Now, though, Guests who plan to visit Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park are about to have more restaurant choices during their trips! Today, reservations for four popular Disneyland Resort dining locations are finally available.
It’s important to note that, although reservations for all four restaurants can be made starting today, the opening dates vary. Here are the details:
Napa Rose at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel — May 28 to all Guests
Storytellers Cafe at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel — May 28 to all Guests

At this time, Guests who wish to make reservations for any of these restaurants need to visit the Disneyland website and enter the virtual queue. As you can see in the screenshot above, the wait time at the time of publication was only about five minutes.
However, it is worth noting that many time slots are already full for all four restaurants. Currently, reservations can be made for their opening dates and 60 days afterward. It seems that Alfresco Tasting Terrace was the first to fill up this morning, with Blue Bayou not far behind. These are two experiences that fans have been waiting for, so it was expected for it to be quite difficult to get a reservation.
Be sure to keep checking back to see if a reservation opens up for your desired date and also check the day you visit to see if a walk-up waitlist is available to join via the Disneyland app.
Also, be aware that mobile reservations [below] are currently unavailable. As stated, you must visit the Disneyland website to try to snag a table. We have shared in the past that using the Disneyland app is a great way to bypass the virtual queue online, but not today.
It is important to note that Disneyland Resort is operating with a number of COVID-19 health and safety protocols in place. In regard to in-park dining, the website features the following notice:
We’re committed to a responsible reopening of the Disneyland Resort—and we’ve made some important updates and enhancements to our dining experiences based on guidance from health authorities, such as the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and appropriate government agencies.
Upon reopening, many dining experiences may be modified or unavailable. At this time, following state and county guidelines, outdoor patio seating and limited indoor seating at select locations will be permitted.
