There is a major change that will take place at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa when it reopens to Guests on April 29. All hotel dining available will be open only to hotel Guests. Normally, hotel restaurants are open to all Guests visiting Disneyland Resort.
This “Guests only” policy will be temporary, but Disney has not announced when other Disneyland Resort and theme park Guests will be able to dine at the hotel restaurants.
When Guests return to the theme parks, Disneyland Resort will also be encouraging Guests to utilize its mobile ordering system. The mobile ordering system allows Guests to purchase food on their phone and pick it up from the restaurant at a chosen time.
Disney has even added some new restaurants to their mobile ordering menu. New additions include:
It is important to note that while multiple quick-service and food carts will be open at Disneyland and Disney California Adventure Park, eating must be done in designated locations while socially distanced. Guests may not walk around the theme park and eat and drink. Sitting in a designated dining location and eating is the only time Guests age 2 and over will be allowed to move their face masks.
