Guests have been anxiously waiting for the day they can step foot inside Arendelle. And, as construction continues on the highly-anticipated Frozen land at Hong Kong Disneyland, that day will be here before we know it!
Arendelle: World of Frozen
The highly-anticipated Frozen land, which was first announced in 2016, will be home to a stunning atmosphere, unique attractions, and may even allow Guests to bump into some favorite characters from the record-breaking film.
Construction has been continuing on the land at Hong Kong Disneyland for quite some time now. Thanks to YouTuber, Disney Magical Kingdom Blog, we have an up close visual on just how far this project has come since our last update. The video, which is from early April, shows additional features of the Frozen-themed land starting to take shape.
Disney Magical Kingdom Blog has pointed out that white canvases have now been added to the surrounding area of the roof’s structure (see photos above).
Additionally, the refurbishment began for the gateway area, located next to Fantasyland Train Station and the buildings’ structures are continuing to take shape!
In regard to the upcoming Frozen Ever After ride, which is set to be modeled after EPCOT’s version at Disney World, more steel frames have been added to the building — The same goes for the Arendelle-themed restaurant.
Lastly, work is also continued on the exterior of Wandering Oaken’s Sliding Sleighs (pictured above).
