Warning: If you have a partner who likes to crack jokes, keep them away from this article.
Disney World might be a place that many assume is for kids, but many adults (like myself) love to visit the parks because we get to bring out our inner-child and enjoy the detail and magic that the theme parks provide.
It seems like there is also a certain couple, or should I said 1/2 of a couple, that loves to fool around when at the parks. TikTok user Kelly (@kelly_kirb) posted a hilarious video of her then-fiance, and now husband, proposing to her all over Walt Disney World.

If you take a look at the video below, you can see that over a variety of days and parks, Kelly’s husband would not stop dropping to one knee, and her reaction of getting upset and running away rather than being happy must have had crowds in shock. Little did they know that it was all a joke and that Kelly’s husband was just pulling pranks on his wife.
@kelly_kirb we were already engaged so he knew he could get away with this. We go back in June, wish me luck. #fyp #foryoupage #husbandwifecomedy

For many Disney fans, getting proposed to Disney World is a dream! That is why we find it amusing to watch the constant Prince Charming moves that Kelly’s husband continuously executes, and how appalled and upset Kelly gets when he does it.
It really does seem like the last reaction anyone would expect, and if Kelly is someone who does not like attention, this would probably drive her nuts.
Plus, if you have ever witnessed a proposal at Disney World, you know that it often gathers a crowd, involves clapping and cheering, and photos if PhotoPass Cast Members are nearby. So running away from what is meant to be one of the happiest moments in a couple’s life could be quite embarrassing.

That being said, if Kelly made this video, it is pretty clear that she had a good sense of humor about it.
As we can see, no masks were worn, so these clips were shot pre-pandemic, but in the caption of the TikTok, Kelly notes, “We were already engaged so he knew he could get away with this. We go back in June, wish me luck.” It seems that on Kelly’s return, she is already anticipating having to make a run for it every time her husband drops to one knee in front of a Disney crowd.
What would you do if your partner kept fake proposing to you all over Disney World?
