“The Magic Is Back” New Disneyland Merchandise Collection
Disney Parks Blog announced today that an all-new collection of Disney merchandise — called “The Magic Is Back” — will celebrate the reopening of the Southern California Disney Parks. To commemorate Guests’ return to the Happiest Place on Earth, they can purchase merchandise items in the “The Magic Is Back” collection, which includes t-shirts, face masks, tumblers, and pins.
Everything in the new collection is adorable — it even features Sorcerer Mickey bringing back the Disney magic. It’s clear that the Disneyland team is radiating with positivity to celebrate the reopening of the very first Disney Park, which has been closed for over a year.
Take a look at some of the Disneyland merchandise items that will be available for purchase later this month. These items will be sold at retail locations at the Disneyland Resort, such as the Emporium in Disneyland Park and Elias & Co. and the Backlot Premiere Shop in Disney California Adventure Park.
The official Disney Parks TikTok account also shared the following video to get Guests excited to return “home” to their happy place, the original Magic Kingdom, Disneyland!
Disneyland Reopening Information
After a year-long closure, the theme parks of the Disneyland Resort will officially reopen their gates on April 30. Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park are reopening to a limited capacity of California residents only, and although there will be several health and safety measures enforced, thousands of fans are still thrilled to get back to the magic very soon.
In order to enter a Disneyland theme park upon reopening, Guests will need both a valid theme park ticket and a confirmed theme park reservation. So far, several dates are being booked in advance, with Disneyland Park being fully booked for reopening day, as well as Disney California Adventure Park being fully booked for the grand opening of Avengers Campus this June. Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa reopens one day earlier on April 29. The Downtown Disney District has been reopened since July 9, 2020. Downtown Disney will continue to operate daily after Disney’s California theme parks reopen later this month.
