Iron Man’s iconic suit is getting an upgrade! The new Shanghai Disneyland suit was revealed today, and it was announced that it was created in celebration of the theme park’s five-year anniversary.
Although this suit made its debut at Shanghai Disney Resort, it may not be the only place that you can find the new Iron Man costume. Guests visiting the Disneyland Resort in California may be able to see the new suit when Avengers Campus opens.
Avengers Campus at Disneyland was originally slated to open on July 18, 2020. However, that date was pushed back as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Disneyland Resort is officially reopening to Guests — with numerous health and safety restrictions — on April 30, 2021. A new opening date for Avengers Campus has not been set at this time.
Over the course of Disneyland’s closure, however, details about the new Marvel-themed land were released — we’ve even got an up-close look at the Quinjet! However, nothing about this specific Marvel character costume has been revealed.

According to the Disney Parks Blog, Avengers Campus will completely immerse Guests in the Marvel world:
Avengers Campus invites you to team up with the Avengers and their allies in a fully immersive land at Disney California Adventure park. Avengers Campus is comprised of several heroic locations—each hosted by a different Super Hero or their ally—to share their unique powers, technology and knowledge with recruits.

Iron Man will also not be the only Avenger that Guests will be able to interact with. As Disney Parks Blog pointed out:
Last but certainly not least, throughout Avengers Campus, Super Heroes will come to life in ways that are more exciting than ever. You may have heroic encounters with Iron Man, Captain Marvel, Black Widow, Doctor Strange, the Guardians of the Galaxy, Black Panther, the Dora Milaje, Thor and even villains like Loki. We’re excited to also share that Ant-Man and The Wasp will be making their first appearances in the park, and Iron Man himself will be debuting his new armor in Avengers Campus: the Mark 80.
The Mark 80 was not seen in any of the Avengers or Iron Man films — and there are no concrete details on what exactly the suit will look like. Tony Stark created many Iron Man suits, but only a handful were seen on screen.

However, this new suit at Shanghai Disney makes us wonder if the Shanghai suit and the Mark 80 are one and the same.
