It appears that Walt Disney World is having a rough week with some of its attractions. On Monday, EPCOT has some technical difficulties as several attractions experienced unexpected downtime, which you can read more about here.

Now, over at Magic Kingdom, one of the most popular rides — Space Mountain — is experiencing some technical difficulties. As you can see in the screenshot below, My Disney Experience currently shows the Tomorrowland attraction as temporarily closed.

Additionally, WDW Stats on Twitter reported that Space Mountain shut down at approximately 1:35 p.m.

At this time we aren’t sure what is causing this downtime at Space Mountain in Magic Kingdom, but Disney Parks attractions can experience technical difficulties from time to time. Inside the Magic will continue to update you as we get information regarding this popular ride at Disney World.
In the meantime, if Guests are visiting Magic Kingdom, they can experience several other rides located at the theme park including Carousel of Progress, Splash Mountain, Big Thunder Mountain, Pirates of the Caribbean, Haunted Mansion, Jungle Cruise, The Enchanted Tiki Room, and more!
