Credit: DisneyDisney’s Hollywood Studios was the third park to debut in Walt Disney World on May 1st, 1989, and has recently become very popular with the addition of Toy Story Land, Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, and Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway.
With all of these new additions, many Guests and Disney first-timers are wondering if it is even possible to visit this park with its current limited capacity. Well, if you were planning to visit in the near future — You may be limited to which day you can go as Park Passes are going fast for this theme park!
Disney Park Pass Reservation System
Due to the ongoing pandemic, Disney has had to make changes to keep Guests and Cast Members safe, including a limited capacity implemented to the theme parks. The Disney Park Pass system is a reservation system that allows Disney to monitor and plan for how many Guests want to visit each theme park on any given day.
Now, to enter a park, you must have a park reservation via the Disney Park Pass System and valid admission. Thankfully, Disney has made booking your park reservation easy and straightforward based on your plans and days staying on property.
Disney Resort Guests can apply their park reservations based on their dates during their stay. Annual Passholders have the option of applying their theme park reservation for up to three days at a time or including the length of their stay if they decide to stay at a Disney Resort. Another great detail is if you are an existing ticket holder, you can book your reservations for the number of days of your valid theme park admission.
Is Hollywood Studios Available Next Month?
If you’re planning on visiting Hollywood Studios in Walt Disney World during April, we suggest you look at the theme park reservation availability sooner than later! After reviewing the calendar for April 2021, it looks like Hollywood Studios isn’t available until Saturday, April 24th for certain ticket holders (Previously, we reported that availability was scarce through April 10.)
For theme park tickets, Hollywood Studios is booked through April 23, with the soonest available being April 24.
For Disney Resort Guests, the same applies. The current calendar shows Hollywood Studios being booked through April 23, with the soonest available being April 24.
But for Annual Passholders — You are in luck as right now there is plenty more availability for Hollywood Studios for April!
