If you are one of the lucky ones who were able to secure a ticket to the A Touch of Disney Event happening right now at Disneyland Resort, you may be wondering what will be offered at the event.
Although attractions cannot be accessed at this time, there is still lots to do at DCA! Aside from being able to take in the sights and sounds of a full Disneyland theme park after a year of closures, Guests can meet their favorite characters through distanced interactions, as well as eat and drink foods from booths scattered throughout the park.
As we have been walking around the event, we discovered that there is something else available to Guests that we didn’t account for! If you are a fan of Pixar Pier you likely know that there are four fun carnival-style games that Guests can play. Well, even though the offerings available at A Touch of Disney are reduced, the games are still available for Guests to play.
As you can see below, each game station is fully separated by plexiglass, and Cast Members are cleaning each station after every use to ensure the utmost safety.
If you want to start picking which carnival game you want to play on Pixar Pier when you are next at Disney California Adventure, below are all of your options:
La Luna Star Catcher
Try your best to nab a floating star at a family-friendly game based on the animated short, La Luna.
Heimlich’s Candy Corn Toss
Toss oversized candy corn into the mouth of the hungry caterpillar from A Bug’s Life.
WALL·E Space Race
Aim a “fire extinguisher” to propel WALL·E and Eve higher and higher as they twirl in space.
Bullseye Stallion Stampede
Roll balls into the right targets to make your horse run faster at this Skee-Ball game inspired by Toy Story 2.
Considering attractions are not open at this event, it is very exciting to see that there are interactive games available to Guests to enhance their experience. Today in particular, on the grand opening day of A Touch of Disney, the games were free!
The Disneyland and Disney California Adventure theme parks will be reopening on April 30, until then if you were lucky enough to get a ticket for A Touch of Disney there is a lot to look forward to before then! If you didn’t get a ticket for A Touch of Disney then you can still go enjoy Downtown Disney which is currently open.
Are you planning on going to the A Touch of Disney event? Would you play a carnival game?
