Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park have been closed for an unprecedented year, but now things are looking up! Disneyland is holding a special ticketed event called A Touch of Disney, which allows even more access to Disney California Adventure than the previous opening of Buena Vista Street.
During our visit to A Touch of Disney, we noticed that some wait times for attractions were posted despite the rides not operating during the event.
We know that Disney is closer than ever to fully reopen both Disneyland and Disney California Adventure. Disneyland Resort will be fully reopening — with limited capacity, a park reservation system, and a variety of health and safety protocols — on April 30, 2020!
During our first visit to A Touch of Disney, we thought it was neat to see the wait times for the attractions being posted as 5 or 10 minutes around the park — a fun “touch” for Guests!
Below, you can see that the wait time was displayed on the IncrediCoaster, despite the attraction not currently operating.
While this might have only been for testing purposes as Disney gears up to reopen California Adventure more fully, it was definitely a happy sight for us, and other fans who have been waiting a year for the Disneyland Resort to open its gates once again.
The wait time was also displayed on another Pixar Pier attraction, Toy Story Midway Mania — again, no attractions are operating during A Touch of Disney.
We love seeing wait times on the attractions signs once again and it gets us even more excited for reopening day! It won’t be long until we see Disneyland and California Adventure on April 30.
